Aspects of Turkmen-Romanian cooperation in transport and energy spheres discussed in Ploiesti

The round table dedicated to the current tasks of developing Turkmenistan's energy and transport diplomacy was conducted in the Romanian city Ploiesti, the administrative center of the Jud. of Prahova. The event is a joint initiative of the Embassy of our country and one of the leading universities in Romania - the University of Oil and Gas.

The president of Commercial and industrial chamber Jud. of Prahova, representatives, Ministries of Energy and Foreign Affairs of Romania, municipal city hall, diplomacy, business groups, heads and Faculty members of University as well as mass media and students took part at the meeting.

The participants of the round table were thoroughly acquainted with international initiatives of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the energy and transport spheres, as well as with major infrastructure projects implemented by our country. The interactive presentation presented Turkmenistan's large-scale achievements in the context of the subject of the meeting.

Summing up the meeting, the representatives of the Romanian side emphasized the interest in an active dialogue with Turkmenistan to build up a mutually beneficial partnership.
