At the same time, it was emphasized that the most important condition for this was Turkmenistan’s course towards international cooperation, openness to the world, and readiness for partnership in all areas.

Speakers during the conference noted that over the years of independence, Turkmenistan has achieved great success in foreign policy and diplomacy, in the comprehensive modernization of economic sectors, and the consistent increase in the level of social well-being of the population. The country is effectively implementing large-scale reforms, implementing transformations in socio-economic development, and national programs and projects.

It was emphasized that the innovative foreign policy initiatives of the Head of Turkmenistan, aimed at solving pressing issues of the global and regional agenda, receive wide international recognition and support.

In this context, the conference participants in their speeches particularly focused on the importance and timeliness of international initiatives and proposals of the President of Turkmenistan, which were voiced from the rostrum of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly on September 19 this year.

The effectiveness of the path of positive neutrality chosen by independent Turkmenistan, based on the principles of peace, friendship, equal and mutually beneficial partnership, was especially noted. It was emphasized that the Turkmen state today is purposefully strengthening its role in the global geopolitical space and takes a principled position on respecting national interests in the system of international coordinates. Taking an active part in global political, diplomatic, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other processes, it is increasingly revealing its potential in achieving sustainable development goals.
