An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi was held in the Termez

On April 20, 2024, at the Termez State University of the Republic of Uzbekistan, under the organization of the Turkmen National Cultural Center of the Surkhandarya Region, the International scientific and practical conference “Magtymguly Fragi - singer of friendship” was held, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi.

The conference was attended by professors, researchers and students from higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Afghanistan.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan Sh.Meredov, the rector of Termez State University A.Tashkulov and the Chairman of the Turkmen Cultural Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan G.Avezdurdyeva spoke at the opening ceremony of the international conference.

Speakers at the conference noted that the priceless works of Magtymguly Fragi, which entered the history of world literature and culture, became the property of the peoples of the world, as well as his works glorifying the friendship of peoples, beauty and sophistication, harmony, cohesion remain relevant in the modern world.
