Representative of Turkmenistan participated in the High-Level Forum “Dialogue for Children: Central Asia and UNICEF”

On May 27, 2025, a high-level forum entitled “Dialogue for Children: Central Asia and UNICEF” was held in Tashkent. The event, organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the “Zamin” International Public Foundation and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), was dedicated to the International Children’s Day.

The forum was attended by heads of relevant departments of Central Asian countries, representatives of international organizations and public associations.

Representing Turkmenistan at the event, Deputy Minister of Health Protection and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan A.Ovezov in his speech provided detailed information on the state policy of Turkmenistan aimed at protecting children's health, ensuring their rights and creating a safe and prosperous society for the younger generation. The importance of international cooperation was also noted, in particular, emphasis was placed on the successes achieved in the framework of cooperation with UNICEF.

During the forum, participants exchanged experiences, discussed the implementation of state programs focused on children, as well as issues of strengthening regional cooperation in this area.
