Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain

On September 16, 2025, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Talal Abdulsalam Al-Ansari.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Bahraini cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian areas.

The parties noted the importance of mutual visits at the highest level, as well as meetings on the sidelines of multilateral international platforms.

The positive experience of interaction within the framework of international organizations, primarily the UN, was noted. The importance of developing inter-parliamentary ties and strengthening cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries was emphasized.

The issues of improving the bilateral legal framework for cooperation and ways to advance previously reached agreements were also discussed.
