The 10th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tatarstan working group on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation opened in Ashgabat
On November 21, 2025, the 10th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tatarstan working group on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation opened at the Yyldyz Hotel in Ashgabat.
A representative delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation O.Korobchenko arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the meeting.
The agenda of the meeting included the practical implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as promising areas for fruitfully developing cooperation.
Opening the meeting, the co-chairs noted with satisfaction the high level of bilateral relations, built on the principles of mutual trust and benefit. As noted, a mutual desire to maximize the existing significant potential for the implementation of joint projects is demonstrated. Speaking about opportunities to expand cooperation in priority areas, the parties confirmed their readiness to further deepen collaboration and specified promising areas, particularly trade and economics, oil and gas, energy, and industry.
Particular emphasis was placed on areas such as transport, communications and information technology, textiles, agriculture and environmental protection, science, education, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, culture, sports, and youth policy.
It was emphasized that the favorable investment climate established in Turkmenistan and country's growing international reputation as a reliable partner play a significant role in the progressive development of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation.
It was emphasized that the implementation of joint projects in various areas will be of practical importance for both sides.
