Meeting at the MFA with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan
On November 27, 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan Bandaru Wilsonbabu.
During the meeting, the diplomats noted the traditionally friendly nature of Turkmen-Indian relations and the effectiveness of cooperation in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
It was emphasized that the key factor in the development of interstate relations is contacts at the highest and high levels.
The sides discussed cooperation between the two countries within international organizations, primarily within the UN.
During the conversation, the importance of the International Forum of Peace and Trust and the International Conference "The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation for Sustainable Development," scheduled for December of this year, was emphasized.
