The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea has been accredited to Turkmenistan

On 15 December 2025, on the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairperson of the Mejlis, D.Gulmanova, accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to Turkmenistan, Luciano Nkogo Ndong Ayekaba.

On behalf of the Head of State, the Speaker of the Mejlis congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to the high post and wished him success in strengthening relations between the two countries.

Expressing gratitude for the kind wishes, the Ambassador conveyed to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov warm greetings from the leadership of Equatorial Guinea and best wishes to the entire Turkmen people. Taking the opportunity, Luciano Nkogo Ndong Ayekaba also extended his heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality.

During the conversation, the diplomat was informed about the priorities of Turkmenistan’s socially oriented domestic policy and its peace-loving foreign policy based on the principles of positive neutrality and constructive cooperation with all countries of the world, including the states of Africa.

An exchange of views took place on the possibilities for developing bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest. The Ambassador was also briefed on the structure and activities of the Mejlis, as well as on the large-scale socio-economic reforms being implemented in Turkmenistan.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the diplomat emphasized that it was a great honor for him to represent the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in neutral Turkmenistan and assured that he would make every effort to further develop relations between the two countries.
