Turkmen entrepreneur successfully works in the agro biotechnology field
In the agro-industrial segment of our country is developing such a high-demand direction as the production of bio humus. This is the agro biological technology of processing organic substrates in an environmentally friendly fertilizer. Many large companies around the world are successfully working in the field of worm composting.
In Turkmenistan, an individual entrepreneur Dovlet Berdyev successfully developing this direction. On the territory of the personal farm located in the Durhan association "Durun" of the Bahherden etrap of the Akhal region, he built a 400-square meter box for breeding worms. The entrepreneur certified the products and after the test procedures received and sold the first tons of commercial bio humus. The state and private enterprises, tenants and individuals are his customers. The number of those who want to acquire a fertility guarantor is growing, so the manufacturer is working to expand production, including through partnerships with livestock and poultry farms, in the future planning to enter the foreign market.
"The production of bio humus is carried out according to the technical conditions that I have developed, in accordance with the received production safety certificates and quality standards of such products," Dovlet Berdyev said in the conversation. "I plan to approve my own trademark, to test new methods."
In April of this year, Dovlet entered postgraduate study at the National Institute of Deserts, Flora and Fauna of the State Committee for Environmental Protection and Land Resources. The theme of his scientific work is connected with the use of bio humus in agro production. He plans to carry out some of the research on his land and in the conditions of a greenhouse with automated management, the construction of which is being completed.
The entrepreneur tested the quality of the bio humus produced during the cultivation of vegetable and tobacco crops on stony and meager soil. The experiment exceeded expectations; intensive growth and abundant fruiting were observed on the site. High yield was pleased with the black currant, and now Dovlet plans to expand the planting of delicious and healthy berries. Fruit trees planted in 2016 were taken root. The garden is equipped with a system of drip irrigation, and the use of bio humus allows you to save moisture. Spraying of leaves and radical top dressing with a water extract of this bio fertilizer, which has the ability to suppress pathogenic soil microflora and destroy insect pests, acting as an environmentally safe alternative to pesticides. In addition, compost worms contain useful enzymes, which allows them to be used as a protein component in the feed of farm animals and poultry.
Production and application of bio humus in horticulture and vegetable growing is a promising direction from the point of view of ecology and economy. The use of by-products of agricultural production will support maintain resource balance, optimize costs and increase agricultural production without harming the environment.
