GROWING THE WORLDWIDE POPULARITY OF TOURISTIC ITINERARY OF TURKMENISTAN

As stressed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the most important factor in the development of the tourism industry of Turkmenistan is natural-recreational and historical-cultural potential, the wealth and originality which enable the country to improve its international ranking in this sector, gaining more and more significant position in the global tourism market.

Special attention of the leader of the nation to this area is confirmed by the fact that the head of state initiated the development of new touristic map of the country. In the context of its implementation in the last few years developing the most prospective routes, causing increased attention from travel armatures. At the stage of preparation of the map, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov introduced some changes, and emphasized that the names and symbols of natural and historical sights of our country should be inherent in the national character.

A tourist card is addressed to everyone, who wants to learn the rich history, culture, natural objects of Turkmenistan. Foreign travel agencies it helps to choose the most interesting routes and means of transportation. For this purpose, on the map was reflected the administrative division of provinces with modern names of major cities, transportation, protected areas, facilities for health tourism.

The brightly labeled Spa pearl of Central Asia – the national tourist zone "Avaza", a chain of silhouettes of camels marked the famous highway of antiquity - the silk road, represented horse trails for lovers of the exotic and want to explore the unique natural landscapes of Turkmenistan and historic objects of architecture, of which there are dozens.

Here also indicates the location of the archaeological monuments which included in the world cultural heritage list of UNESCO and Ancient Merv, Old Nisa, natural monuments of Koytendag, including karst cave system and the famous plateau with fossilized remains of ancient giant lizards – dinosaurs. Besides, on the map was reflect the existing in our country, different climate zones due to the presence of mountains, sea and hot desert, which gives an idea about the unique contrast of the ecosystems.

This map serves as a visual propaganda of the tourism potential of our country abroad, as its existence demonstrates openness to fruitful cooperation in the field of international tourism.

Formation in the sphere of tourism of the market economy, implementation of effective organizational approaches, stimulate business initiatives in this sector of the economy, involvement in the tourism sector of resources of other branches – transport, communication, trade and construction, agriculture, production of consumer goods, investments attraction and developing long-term partnerships – these and many other questions are discussed at talks with foreign businessmen, managers and experts of international and national travel agencies and associations of European countries and other parts of the world.

In this context, it’s appropriate to note that increased interest in Turkmen routes shown to participants which was held in March this year in the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany – Berlin – in the International tourism exhibition ITB Berlin 2016, which on the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov participated in the Turkmen delegation. At this major touristic forum has deployed more than 10 thousand exhibitors from 189 countries.

According to opinion of foreign partners, Turkmenistan is also growing among European travellers to the demand for historical tours in places with natural exotic, the contrast of antiquity and modernity. Foreign experts also believes that the new directions are most promising ecological and culinary tourism.

 Besides, the planned cultural program of the upcoming Asiada-2017 will also allow widely demonstrating to visitors its tourist potential, to attract attention to our monuments of archeology and architecture, unique landscape attractions, historical and legendary places, museums, theatres, exhibition halls. An important place in this program is given to acquaintance with the Ethnography and folklore wealth, crafts and crafts, modern decorative-applied and monumental art.

And, of course, admiration of the leading tour operators is the rapidly development of world-class resort – National tourist zone «Avaza», the infrastructure which were recently added to the cottage complex «Ak ýelken» and yacht club and the cottage complex «Tolkun». The president of Turkmenistan took part in opening ceremony of this resort objects.

Commissioning of the new buildings on the ecologically pure coast of the Caspian sea is another step towards establishing a modern sea resort of international class, an initiative of which creation belongs to the head of state. Now this paradise corner of the Turkmen land was unrecognizable. Every summer season more than thousands of tourists come to "Avaza" to rest. It should be noted that the comfortable conditions for recreation, including family, high level of service and interesting activities in the "Avaza" is guaranteed almost all year round, which was appreciated not only Turkmen, but also the guests of our country.

Currently, high-quality hotels, children's camps, cottage villages, health centres and recreation, Park and entertainment complexes, has been taking consistent steps to further develop tourism and other related infrastructure. Along with this, in recent years, the "Avaza" has firmly established itself in the status of major business, cultural and sports centre, becoming a meeting place at the highest level, various international events.

As the head of state emphasizes, the main purpose of the implementation of this large-scale project to realize the enormous recreational potential of Turkmen seaside, to service of people. Today in the "Avaza" not only can relax, but also to strengthen health, to undergo restorative treatment, based on the latest achievements of medicine. And, of course, undeniable beneficial effects on the body and emotional spirit of a man are clean fresh air, sun baths and sea bathings. All this guarantees the guests a charge of vivacity and good health for a long time.

Thus, with all these steps and the personal patronage of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the tourism industry of our country becoming one of the promising sectors, opening up more opportunities for international cooperation.
