President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspects works at construction sites of the capital and its outskirts

At request of Vice-premier Sh. Durdiliyev, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made working trip around the capital, having looked around aspects of social and economic development and improvement of infrastructure of Ashgabat as well as inspected construction works in the capital.

During joint cycling ride, the Vice-premier reported to the President about expanded large-scale work for integrated development of Ashgabat, proper care of planted trees and park zones as well as about fulfilment of assignments for modernization of road and transport infrastructure of Turkmen capital.

The Head of the State has again focused that special attention has to be paid to the provision of high quality of construction of facilities as well as to ecological aspects during developing of the projects.

It was highlighted that construction of 27 complexes and facilities has to meet the trends of integrated development of the city including development of surrounding territories and modern engineering and technical provision.

At the same time, creation of all conditions for physical training and sport activity is the main term. Having noted that all of these is very important in the context of assertion of principles of healthy life style in society, the Head of the State gave relative assignments to the Vice-premier.

It is necessary to pay attention to opening of new park zones, planting of trees and shrubs in the capital, provision of optimal conditions for comfortable recreation, the President highlighted, having requested to hold these works under control.

After, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdiliyev reported on developed projects of further social and economic development of Ashgabat as well as on facilities under construction, having presented relative drawings and sketches.

Having listened to the report and studied the projects in details, Turkmen leader made number of remarks and corrections.

After, the Head of the State continued working tour, have flown around the Eastern part of Turkmen capital on helicopter.

Having studied the project of sanatorium for 200 guests, which is built in Bagabat settlement, and road leading to it, the President focused that provision of high quality of these works and completion of construction according to timeline are important requirements.

Turkmen leader noted that our country, which provides wide range of treatment and preventive services, has all capabilities for their further development. Therefore, sanatorium in Bagabat has to be provided with latest technologies according to the latest achievements of the world science, having become one of the leading recreation centres.

As is known, modern sanatorium and resort network has been established and works all around the country. Medical facilities, where the most modern methods of prevention and treatment of various diseases are used, which opens new capabilities for rehabilitation and strengthening of health of the citizens, are under rapid construction in all regions at present time, the President noted.

Construction of roads leading to new sanatorium is under construction in Bagabat settlement. It was highlighted that construction of road has to be carried out in accordance with time requirements. Having highlighted that the road has to withstand the load of cargo transport flow, the President gave specific assignments for quality construction of facilities of road and transport infrastructure including highways.

At the same time, the President ordered to hold social facilities under construction as well as development of surrounding territories under permanent control.

Having focusing again on construction of road leading to sanatorium, the Head of the state noted the appropriateness of installation of stela in the centre of one of the main intersections of the road, which would embody large-scale work in health protection of people.

After, the Head of the State inspected construction works expanded in the northern part of the city, having highlighted importance of making of proper conditions for recreation of children and adults. Thus, modern swimming pools and water complexes have been built in the velayats and capital.

Today, the Centre of Aquatic Sports located in the Olympic village gives all capabilities to citizens and guests of Ashgabat for going in for water sports. This complex is listed in the Guinness Record Book as the biggest indoor swimming pool in the world built based on modern technologies from eco-friendly materials meeting high requirements of international standards.

It was highlighted that it is necessary to take measures for effective use of built aquatic complexes, comfortable summer holiday season of people. Speaking of this, the Head of the State ordered to organize work for making picturesque natural place with proper recreation conditions at Gurtly Lake located in the northern part of Ashgabat.

During the flight, the President has also inspected construction works at the complex of transport facilities and driving school association with training centre, which are built in the northern part of Ashgabat.

After, the Head of the State looked around infectious disease clinic for 200 patients, which is built in Gyoktepe etrap, Ahal velayat. This medical facility will allow making preventive measures and treating infectious diseases if detected on proper level. Totally, there will be six departments in the structure of the hospital.

Having looked around construction sites, the President requested to hold issues related to completion of construction of hospital as per timeline, provision of modern technologies and equipment under control.

The Head of the State has also looked around construction facilities on the territory of Byuzmeyin etrap where construction of residential buildings is on important place. It was mentioned that infrastructure and living conditions have to be of high quality as this is the main requirement of urban construction programme.

At present time, construction of multiprofile shopping centre, schools for 600 students, thirty 4-storey and nine 2-storey living houses is carried out in Byuzmeyin etrap.

From the helicopter, Turkmen leader looked around the facilities of Keshy residential estate and 16th phase of the capital urban development. The Head of the State highlighted that it is necessary to take into account local landscape and s surrounding territory has to be properly developed. It was highlighted that priority in the programme of construction has to be given to social facility.

It is worth to mention that the programme of the 16th phase of the capital development provides the construction of the monument of Turkmen alabay. It also provides the construction of 5.5 kilometre road.

From the helicopter, the President has also inspected works at construction of fashionable Karakum Hotel and construction of facilities in the centre of the city, having focused on the necessity of development of surrounding territory.

At present time, secondary specialized school for 720 students and kindergarten for 320 children with deep study of foreign languages as well as fitness and art centres are rapidly built in this part of Ashgabat.

Further, the Head of the State looked around road and transport facilities along A. Niyazov Avenue, having highlighted that construction of multi-line roads would provide safe traffic as well as good conditions for drivers and pedestrians.

It means that special attention has to be paid to construction of over-, underpasses and car parking. Nowadays, side lanes of road, which are marked with special line, are designated for ambulance and fire service vehicles. This is standard practice in the world and it is necessary that our drivers and pedestrians would comply with this rule. Such works have to be carried out at other streets of the city, the President said.

At present, construction of the second phase of Nusay Hotel, building of the capital facility of art carpet making, administrative building of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, reconstruction and construction of complex of the building of the faculty of Olympic Sports of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Training and Sports is carried out in Ashgabat. Automobile tunnel and pedestrian crossing is under construction at the intersection of S. Turkmenbashy and A. Niyazov avenues.

From the helicopter, the Head of the State looked around the construction of International Treatment and Aesthetic Centre, having noted that the facility has to be built taking into account high quality requirements and opened as per the timeline. Multi-level car parking is also undr construction in the same area.

During the flight around the capital, the President inspected the construction of facilities in the southern part of the city – so called business centre of Ashgabat. Construction of complex of buildings of International Congress Centre, fashionable Arkadag Hotel, administrative building of the State Commercial Türkmenbaşy Bank, building of Senagat Joint Stock Commercial Bank, Government tribune, building of Reception Centre and Bicycle Monument are under construction in this place these days.

Modern buildings that will be built in this part of the city soon will merge into architectural image of the capital.

Having focused on objectives of realization of the programme of Ashgabat development, the Head of the State highlighted that all new facilities have to combine harmonically elements of national architecture and word innovations in this sphere. The President highlighted that all facilities have to be built as per the timeline and with high quality.

Having finished working tour around the capital, the Head of the State ordered the Vice-premier to take advanced practice into account, in order to new buildings would meet international standards and would be provided with the state-of-art equipment. Large-scale construction expanded in the capital has to have an integrated character, the Head of the State highlighted, having given relative assignments to the Vice-premier.
