The Embassy of Turkmenistan to Georgia organize webinar dedicated to the 25th anniversary of neutrality of the country and 75th anniversary of the UN
The Embassy of our country to Georgia has held international online conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and the 75th anniversary of the UN.
Representatives of Georgia’s Foreign Ministry, diplomatic corps, Georgian Technical University, Grigol Robakidze University ad mass media took part in the event.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Tbilisi Dovletmurad Muratov, UN Permanent Coordinator in Georgia Sabine Mahl, President of Red Crescent Society of Georgia and Board Member of International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Natia Lmadze, Head of the delegations of International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Southern Caucasus Olga Jumayeva, Head of the delegation of International Red Crescent Committee in Georgia Severin Chappez, Director of the Centre of History, Geopolitics and Economic Researches of Caucasus of Georgian Technical University Nicoloz Metreveli, Executive Director of TV24, Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Political scientist, honoured journalist of Georgia Badri Nachkebia have made a speeches to the participants of the webinar.
The spokesmen have congratulated the people of Turkmenistan on remarkable date – the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality and noted that having received neutral and legal status, Turkmenistan fulfils all undertaken obligations following the principles of goodwill, respect, justice and equality, pursues foreign policy, which is aimed at provision of peace, security and sustainable development.
It was highlighted that Turkmenistan firmly believes in the future of the United Nations Organizations and aims at intensification of strategic partnership with the UN making contribution to support of universal peace, security and progress.
It was noted during the conference that new book of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Spiritual World of Turkmens”, which was published on the threshold of Turkmenistan’s Independence Day and became a distillation of century-old national wisdom, will be interesting and useful for wide audience.
