The Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan organized sports and festive events

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and the proclamation of 2020 "Turkmenistan is the homeland of Neutrality", a sports event in billiards and tennis was organized by the Cosulate of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (Mazar-i-Sharif city).

The event was attended by the heads of the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan in Balkh province, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif.

At the beginning of the event, the participants were told about the domestic and foreign policy of Turkmenistan, as well as the history of the country's acquiring neutral status and its role in strengthening international and regional stability. Also, the participants were informed in detail about the international initiatives of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The heads of diplomatic missions in their speeches congratulated the President of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people on the 25th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and noted that Turkmenistan follows the principles of good neighborliness, mutual respect, justice and equality, implements a foreign policy aimed at world peace, security and prosperity throughout the world.

In addition, an exhibition-fair was also organized jointly with the representatives of the Turkmen-Afghan trading house, at which textiles made in Turkmenistan were presented.
