An exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the country's permanent neutrality was held in the premises of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan

On November 18, 2020, an exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan was held in the building of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by representatives of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, faculty and Turkmen students studying at universities in Uzbekistan, representatives of the Turkmen Diaspora in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the beginning of the opening ceremony, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Y. Mammedov spoke about the events held in honor of the 25th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan in the country and abroad, such as conferences, round tables, exhibitions and sports competitions. The Ambassador also informed the participants about the International Conference “Policy of Neutrality and its Role in Ensuring International Peace, Security and Sustainable Development”, planned for December 12 this year in Ashgabat.

Further, the Head of the Department for Spirituality and Enlightenment of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Nurmyradov spoke about the importance of the neutral status of Turkmenistan, friendly Turkmen-Uzbek relations.

In addition, a video was shown to the participants of the exhibition, reflecting the great achievements of the Turkmen state in the years of independence and progress in various sectors of the national economy.
