THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN HOLDS VIDEO CONFERENCE WORKING SESSION
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference working session with participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of the regions and Ashgabat. The agenda of the session included the objectives of implementation of the strategy of social and economic development of the capital and regions, fundamental reforms in agricultural complex as well as other current matters of the state life.
First, the Head of Ashgabat Ya. Gylyjov has reported on the situation in the capital, measures for further development, support of heating systems in proper operational conditions taking into account cold weather. It was also reported about construction of various facilities, which are built in the main city of the country.
Having listened to the report, Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that our country would celebrate the 30th anniversary of independence next year and gave instructions for completion of construction of facilities, which are planned to be opened on occasion of this remarkable date, of qualitative basis and as per the timeline.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has also reported to hold organizational issues related to coming New Year Celebration under control.
Further, reports of Head of Ahal Region Ya. Gurbanov, Head of Balkan Region T. Atahalliyev, Head of Dashoguz Region N. Nazarmyradov, Head of Lebap Region Sh. Amangeldiyev and Head of Mary Region D. Annaberdiyev, who reported on the situation in the regions under their supervision and fulfilment of instructions given by the Head of the State, in particular for establishment of coordinated activity of municipal services, provision of sable heating of living houses, kindergartens, educational and medical facilities, proper work of power and gas supply systems of all settlements in winter period, have been presented.
It was informed in the reports about preparation to the celebration of coming 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, acceleration of construction rates of various facilities, provided by National rural program and the Program of the President on social and economic development of the country in 2019 – 2025.
The heads of the regional administrations have also reported on seasonal agricultural works, including on picking of cotton, care of winter crop fields, expansion of lands for potato, vegetable, cucurbitaceous and other agricultural crops, which are on high demand.
At the same time, preparation to spring sowing campaign has been started. Measures for bringing of agricultural equipment and machines, which would be used in the coming campaign, into proper operational conditions are undertaken. Planting of new trees is carried out according to the set schedule.
Having listened to the reports, Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has focused that matters of social provision of the population have to be under permanent attention of the heads of the regions.
Having focused on importance of timely fulfilment of seasonal agricultural works, the Head of Turkmenistan pointed out the necessity of proper care of the winter crops planted for the harvest of 2021 as well as full completion of the cotton harvest and proper processing of received valuable material.
It is also necessary to pay special attention to increment of volume of production of potato, vegetable, cucurbitaceous crops for provision of the population’s requirements in these products and strengthening of the basis of food abundance.
Certain instructions have been given regarding preparation to New Year celebration.
Further, addressing the heads of the capital and regions, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has highlighted again the subject of cold weather, having highlighted that it is necessary to enforce explanation work among the population for strengthening of immune system and prevention of seasonal diseases.
It is necessary to take integrated preventive measures, in other word, to have healthy life style, for human organism would be able to adapt timely to winter season, the Head of the State said, having given certain instructions in this context.
Further, the Leader of the Nation has called Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, who is in charge of agricultural complex. The Vice-premier has reported on the situation in this industry, integrated works conducted in the fields and at livestock farms and on comprehensive preparation to the spring season.
The Vice-premier has also informed that in order to attract private producers to agricultural sphere relative work has been carried out together with regional administrations for establishment of special land funds for cultivation of agricultural crops at 264, 678 hectares in the regions.
The land is proposed to be given to producers on long-term lease basis up to 99 years for cultivation of wheat, cotton and other agricultural crops from the government order on contractual base on 70 percent of lands while the rest of the land might be sown with other crops for scientifically based crop rotation.
Having listened to the report, the President of Turkmenistan has focused on importance of strengthening of food abundance in the country, where improvement of the land fertility, increment of volumes of agricultural production and expansion of varieties of cultivated crops are the main objectives.
Speaking of this, the Head of the State has signed the Resolution on approval of volumes of special agricultural land fund, having sent it to the Vice-premier and heads of the region by electronic document management system.
Having highlighted the necessity of introduction of the latest technologies and advanced scientific achievements to agricultural complex, organic combination of modern practice with national land farming traditions, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave number of certain instructions to the Vice-premier and heads of the regions.
Further, deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch. Gylyjov has reported on celebration events held in different parts of the country on occasion of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, provision of high organizational level of profile exhibitions, which are to be held on December 1 – 12 on honor of remarkable date.
The expositions will demonstrate the achievements of each industry, including introduction of the latest technologies and digital system to production according to the initiatives of the Leader of the Nation, samples of various national competitive production.
The Vice-premier has also reported on preparation to organization of celebration exhibition, which would be held in the capital and regions on December 10. The exposition will reflect successful fulfilment of the objectives following from the Program of the President on social and economic development of the country until 2025 and National rural program as well as will demonstrate various land and livestock farming production.
The review timed to the glorious date will also give an opportunity to have visual image of the scales of construction works expanded in all parts of Turkmenistan, measures for increment of the potential processing industry based on development of local raw materials.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that organization of profile exhibitions is very important for dynamic and diversified development of the economy, which enters new direction, exchange of practice and introduction of new innovative technologies to production.
At the same time, it is necessary to demonstrate the results of the targeted measures for improvement of life level of people. Works, which are held in all spheres of national economy, changes in the regions including the construction of various facilities, our achievements in provision of food abundance, have to be presented in the expositions, the Leader of the Nation said. During organization of the exhibitions, it is necessary to pay attention to international projects of Turkmenistan, especially to the projects of formation of transport and communication infrastructure.
It is necessary to establish an effective platform for beneficial exchange of practice, determination of specific directions for solution of set objectives, the President of Turkmenistan highlighted, having addressed the Vice-premier and heads of the regional administrations with relative instructions.
Finishing video conference working session, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has wished success in solution of set objectives aimed at further prosperity of the Motherland and provision of wealth and happy life of people to all participants of the session.
