126 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
In foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Russia, the UAE, Turkey, Afghanistan, Panama, Malta, and Uzbekistan bought gasoline, mixed paraffin slack wax, aviation and illuminating kerosene, diesel fuel, and polypropylene, produced at the Turkmenbashi Refinery Complex. Businessmen from Russia and Afghanistan also made deals for purchasing polyethylene and liquefied gas (Turkmengaz State Concern).
Deals in foreign currency also included clear sheet glass, plain dyed and jacquard terry textiles, cotton fabric, cotton yarn, and dried licorice roots. They were concluded by traders from the Russian Federation, China, the UAE, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The sum total of the deals was over US $48, 273,000.
In local currency, businessmen from Russia, the UAE, Turkey, Scotland, Pakistan, and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn. The sum total of the transactions exceeded 16, 799,000 manats.
For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs bought polypropylene and handmade carpets (over 21,000,000 manats).
