68 Successful Transactions at the Turkmen Commodity Exchange
Last week, 68 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
In foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Scotland and Afghanistan bought hydrotreated diesel fuel and gasoline (respectively) produced at the Turkmenbashi Refinery Complex. Businessmen from Russia, the UAE, Turkey, Hong Kong, and Afghanistan made deals for purchasing technical grade sulfur (Turkmengaz State Concern).
Deals in foreign currency also included clear sheet glass and cotton yarn. They were made by traders from Russia, China, the UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The sum total of the deals exceeded US $16,113,000.
In local currency, entrepreneurs from Scotland, the UAE, India, Hong Kong, Turkey, Pakistan, and Armenia purchased different types of cotton yarn. The sum total of the deals was some 37,000,000 manats.
For the domestic market, local businessmen bought cotton fiber (over 225,000 manats).
