MEETING WITH THE HEAD OF THE OSCE CENTER IN ASHGABAT WAS HELD IN THE MFA OF TURKMENISTAN

Today, on May 4, the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with the Ambassador Natalya Drozd who is completing her mission in Turkmenistan as the Head of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat was held.

During the constructive talk, the effective work of the Ambassador in the Turkmen capital since 2016 was underlined. 

The importance of successful implementation of joint programmes and projects realized in Turkmenistan with the OSCE Center in Ashgabat was noted.  As known, a Special Plan agreed by the Government of Turkmenistan with the OSCE on the basis of three dimensions, political, economic-ecological and humanitarian is adopted annually.  

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan especially emphasized the significance of the initiatives of the Center, aimed at the provision of security, development and cooperation in the framework of new forms of collaboration.  

In the end of the meeting, the Turkmen side thanked Ambassador Natalya Drozd for her valuable input to the process of strengthening mutually beneficial partnership and expressed wishes of success in her future work.
