Representatives of diplomatic universities of Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia discuss the directions of cooperation

Delegation of Saudi Arabia led by Abdullah Al Salman, the dean of Prince Saud Al Feysal Diplomatic Study Institute took part in round table session dedicated to Turkmen – Saudi relations. The meeting was held in the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. 

The visit was organized under the Programme of cooperation between two profile universities, which was confirmed during official visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in May 2016. The objective of the visit of the delegations of friendly country is to discuss the aspects of the partnership of two educational institutions, which train the specialists in the sphere of international relations and to exchange work practices. 

Three sectional sessions on such actual subjects as Turkmen – Saudi bilateral relations, Economic Cooperation (energy, trade and investments), Cooperation in science and culture, were held under the forum. The discussion gave wide impression of the key vectors of the diversification of Turkmen – Saudi multi profile cooperation. 

The activity of the Scientific and Research Centre on the Goals of Sustainable Development made under the university was introduced to the guests and the visit to the historical museum of Turkmen diplomacy was organized. TV programme dedicated to Turkmen – Saudi relations was recorded together with the guests in training studio of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Under cultural programme prepared for the delegation of Saudi Arabia, the guests visited thematic sections of the State Museum and Turkmen Carpet National Museum, visited underground Lake Kov-Ata, one of the places of interest of Turkmen nature.
