A CONFERENCE WAS HELD DEDICATED TO THE NEW POEM OF THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN TITLED “MY HOMELAND, TURKMENISTAN!”

On January 5, 2022, a conference dedicated to the new poem by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov titled “My homeland, Turkmenistan!” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by the heads and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy, the Institute of the Caspian Sea, academic staff and students, as well as representatives of the national media.

During the conference, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.Meredov, Executive Secretary of the National Commission for UNESCO of Turkmenistan Ch.Rustemova, Director of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy Y.Nuryev, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of Turkmenistan J.Gurbangeldiyev, as well as professors and teachers delivered their speeches.

As was noted in the speeches, a poem by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov titled “My homeland, Turkmenistan” that was presented to the nation on the New Year became a kind of festive gift.

It was emphasized that the new work of the President of Turkmenistan describes the high achievements and successes of our country in implementing the domestic and foreign policy. The poem pays special attention to the importance of peaceful and prosperous life of peoples as an indicator of international stability and security, and calls for following the principles of mutual respect and trust, as well as the values of peacefulness. In this context, speakers noted the importance of the Global Initiative “Dialogue – a guarantee of peace”, put forward by the distinguished President of Turkmenistan.

The conference participants reaffirmed the international significance of this work, which describes the inviolability of the principles of peace, mutual trust, friendship and brotherhood, as well as equal cooperation.

At the end of the event, the participants adopted an Appeal to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
